An experienced linguist in Russian, German and French, Jane gained her Honours Degree at Manchester University before completing a post-degree course in bilingual business administration.
She was able to use her knowledge of business language in both the steel and aviation industries and later as Senior Lecturer in charge of the Bilingual Business Administration section at Richmond College of Further Education in Sheffield. Jane gained valuable experience in the practical application of languages in business as well as a key understanding of all aspects of training.
She set up Commercial Language Training in 1989 at a time when few other companies were offering language training to business, and has seen the company evolve into one of the premier language training organisations in the UK.
